No. The name is changing — the community isn't. Same people, same room, same founder-first culture. Carolina Tech Founders is what Tech Founders of York County became as it grew past county lines.
No. Existing members carry over automatically. If you've never signed up, use the form above — it's free and takes about 15 seconds.
Yes. Membership costs nothing and there are no dues. Some structured programs and special events may carry their own costs, but joining the community and attending open events is free.
SCRA — the South Carolina Research Authority — is providing Innovation Hub support, funding, and access to its statewide technology network. The partnership is a formal agreement administered through the Winthrop University Foundation.
Yes & No.
York County remains home base, but events, programs will be expanding across the region to give everyone more opportunities to attend many more events.

The regional name reflects a wider network of partners and founders, not a move away from where this started.
